What Information Mr. Hauptman Collects
My students have this website at their disposal.
At times, I may have students respond to an assignment, answer a few extra credit questions, or give me feedback on
how I am doing as a teacher. When doing so, I ask that they include their full
name, subject, period, and email address. This information is used solely by
me and is stored in a secure environment. I also may periodically conduct contests and surveys to help me better understand
what my students would like to see from me. I may contact a visitor who responded
to a survey for more information, but only if that visitor has told me that they don't mind being contacted.
How to Opt-out
When a student or visitor signs up to join my E-Mailing List, they receive a Welcome E-Mail
that describes the purpose of joining the list and thanks them for doing so. The
purpose of the E-Mailing list is to keep students and visitors informed about upcoming events and activities that they should
be aware of as being members of my classes. Part of my E-Mail signature, which
gets put on every outgoing E-Mail is an UNSUBSCRIBE statement. Anyone wishing
to be removed from my E-Mailing list has the option to do so by simply replying back to any E-Mail they have received from
me with the words “UNSUBSCRIBE” in the subject line.
I do not
support SPAM in any way, shape or form and will try my best to keep up to date with all current anti-SPAM policies and procedures.
Your Acceptance of these Terms
Make sure you read this policy carefully, because if you do choose to use my website, you automatically agree to this policy.
